Upcoming Course: Rosarium
Reading and Understanding the Rosary in Latin
As we step into 2026, I wish you a peaceful, focused, and fruitful beginning of the year. May it be a year of deeper study, slower reading, and a renewed love for the great texts of the past that have shaped our Western civilization.
With that spirit in mind, I’m very happy to announce something special.
Rosarium — Reading the Rosary in Latin
In less than two weeks, on January 13th, I will be launching a new and very special course: Rosarium.
This course is entirely dedicated to reading and understanding every prayer and component of the Rosary in Latin, carefully and in depth.
Throughout the course, we will analyze each word and each phrase from both a grammatical and semantic perspective. At the same time, we will explore the medieval history of the Rosary, its origins, its symbolic structure, and its historical development. Along the way, we will examine selected medieval manuscripts that bear witness to this devotional tradition.
During the course, students will read and analyze the complete Rosary, including:
the Signum Crucis
the Glōria Patri
the Avē Marīa
the Pater Noster
the Mysteries
the Salve Rēgīna
the final prayer
and the Symbolum Apostolōrum
Course format
Lessons will take place once a week, every Tuesday at 12:00 AM Central Time (19:00 CET).
Each session will last 60–90 minutes and will be structured in three parts:
– a guided explanation of grammar and syntax
– a close reading and analysis of the text
– a final Q&A session
