In this lesson we read a French manuscript of the 13th-14th century containing the Legenda Aurea of Jacobus de Voragine. Specifically we read the battle between St. George and the dragon. The purpose of the lesson is to practice Latin, and especially manuscript reading (paleography). It requires an intermediate knowledge of Latin.
