📚 What You Will Learn
This course is designed to take you from zero knowledge to the ability to read basic Latin texts with confidence — without constantly consulting a dictionary.
The course is based on the nātūra method, which means you will learn Latin in Latin — through direct exposure to the language rather than memorization alone.
You will:
Read real Latin texts from day one
Understand grammar through intuitive, step-by-step explanations
Build vocabulary naturally through meaningful context
Develop confidence with written and spoken Latin practice
We will read and work through Familia Rōmāna (Chapters I–VIII) by Hans Ørberg as our core text: a fascinating story that teaches Classical Latin through the everyday life of a Roman family in the 2nd century AD.
