Colloquia personarum: Colloquium IV

In this lesson, we read and discuss Colloquium IV from book Colloquia Persōnārum, corresponding to Capitulum IV in Familia Rōmāna.

Among the topics covered are the following:

  • Conversational Latin

  • Pronouns: personal, interrogative and relative

In addition, we read and analyze five easy Latin proverbs:

  1. Lupus in fabulā.

  2. Acta nōn verba.

  3. Historia (est) vitae magistra.

  4. Pecunia non olet.

  5. Divide et impera.
