In this first lesson of the online course Latin for Beginners, we explore what is and how to use Familia Rōmāna by Hans H. Ørberg, the book we will use during the course.
We then read the first lesson (Lēctiō I) of the first chapter (Capitulum I) and exercise a bit of spoken Latin by locating the towns, rivers, islands and provinces on the map of the Roman Empire.
